Dream Renewables’ 2024/25 year marked significant progress in expanding access to sustainable energy and building local capacity across Ghana. Through hands-on solar training delivered to more than 360 young people, electricians, students and rural community members, we’ve equipped a new generation with the skills to access sustainable livelihoods while expanding clean energy nationwide. Our solar irrigation pilots have helped farmers in the Volta Region—doubling yields, cutting fuel costs and freeing farmers from labour-intensive watering—while our solar installation for the Juantoakrom health clinic has brought reliable power to lifesaving medical services for over 10,000 people. This year also saw the launch of our social enterprise and our partnership with UNICEF to design a solar training programme to be rolled out across five African countries. Alongside this, our nationwide clean cookstove research and advocacy work is helping communities reduce indoor air pollution, cut fuel costs and adopt healthier cooking habits. Together, these achievements reflect our core belief: that clean energy is not just about technology, but about dignity, opportunity and lasting change for the communities we serve.
