Our Training and Education Programme

We deliver training in solar power, clean cooking technologies, energy efficiency and entrepreneurship to young people in Ghanaian communities with limited energy access. Our in-depth, hands-on training is delivered by a team of local engineers and industry experts.

Upon completion, we support trainees to develop solar power projects that serve their local community and to collaborate with existing local businesses, or create their own, in order to build sustainable incomes. We provide, in collaboration with grassroots organisations, workplace internships, mentoring and guidance, technical design support, and entrepreneurial training for those with business ideas.

Following training, trainees deliver presentations to their local communities in schools, places of worship and community centres, teaching the solar skills and knowledge most pertinent to their communities.

We aim to increase community adoption of renewable technologies, provide a route to sustainable income, while tackling air pollution and climate change.

Our programme provides measurable education and workplace opportunities, while delivering advocacy training and solar installations that serve the wider community.
